Art Deco Jewellery

Lecturer: Susan Rumfitt

Art Deco jewellery emerged in 1925 as a result of the World’s Fair held in Paris. Such jewellery exhibited featured bold designs, clear lines and vibrant colours with geometric shapes, influenced by the styles of early twentieth century painting. Extremely popular, the jewellery was the ultimate accessory for the chic women of the 1920s and 30s.
